We’ve now added all the people on the wait list who used the invite code from our akrasia article, [blog.bmndr.com/akrasia](http://blog.bmndr.com/akrasia) Is there anyone on this list who does not now have a beta account? Let me know and we’ll add you right away! If you do have an account but haven’t signed in (ie, chosen a password), please try doing that. We just deployed a bunch of new features (a subset of which we tweeted at [twitter.com/beemuvi](http://twitter.com/beemuvi) ) but most importantly, we’ve implemented actual commitment contracts. With actual money. It works like before when you start a new goal but if you go off your road then you have to put $5 at risk to restart. If you go off the road a second time, we actually charge your credit card for the $5. It’s a rapidly increasing fee schedule from there each time you go off your road. Of course with the new road dial, it should be easy to adjust your road as you go so it’s never too hard to stay on track. Some intermediary like Paypal, Google Checkout or Amazon Payments is definitely necessary. I personally would be much more willing to sign commitment contracts if I could use these rather than my credit card. Many people (including me) don’t have a credit card. Plus, credit card doesn’t have a good reputation and many people don’t feel safe using them. On Aug 8, 9:25 pm, “Bethany M. Yup, thanks! That will work for anyone who wants to use paypal on an ad hoc basis but obviously we’ll need to get that built in to the interface for resetting your graph.
