Changes and notes
- Urgency load is not moving in the right direction! Oops. Still manageable, but not the right direction. Especially frustrating since I had a break… I probably should have had a longer break, realistically. Also I slept very badly on Sunday night so I got approximately nothing done yesterday, which with this many goals is not a great idea. But it’s gonna be okay!
- This calendial is three days late! But I had a break because of my high school reunion this weekend, so that is fine. I’ll try to fiddle with my calendial line after posting this to get it due back on Sundays. As an aside, the reunion was fantastic.
- I found myself wanting to spend more time playing guitar, but not really having much time to. The natural sacrifice is in time playing piano, which is a tradeoff I’m occasionally comfortable with anyways. So I’ve dropped the commitment for
piano
from 0.75/wk to 0.25/wk, but addedmusic
, another toggl-goal, that tracks both piano and guitar time, at 0.75/wk. I don’t have a goal for guitar specifically right now because I’m completely fine spending all my music time on piano-playing if that’s how I’m feeling. - Another new goal:
bottlefill
, for filling up my water bottle. It doesn’t have to be empty first, but it has to be empty enough to be worth walking to the sink for. Which, as long as I maintain enough safety buffer, basically means it has to be empty. But on a beemo day I can drink a lot of water and refill frequently and that’s completely fine. This is in support of one of my summer seasonal goals (more detailed post over on the New Years’ Resolution thread coming Soon™). This goal-format is directly inspired by @narthur’s excellent comment here[forum]. - I haven’t felt much difficulty keeping my desk somewhat more clean, so I’m putting
cleandesk
on a month’s break to see if I still need it. -
