# Feature request: weekends off should apply after Arkasia horizon

Beeminder just failed me. I failed myself too, but that’s why I use Beeminder. I found a loophole and used it.

I have a no-smoking goal set to a rate of about 1 per two weeks. I felt like smoking. I checked Beeminder. Goal is red. It’s Friday night in my timezone. I thought if I am lucky, if I enable weekends off, I will get tonight off. I tried it and the goal turned to blue. 😥

Feature request: weekends off should apply after Arkasia horizon, so after 7 days

Sadly no, it requires a fairly deep rethinking of our implementation of the weekends-off feature, which is definitely eventually happening but it hasn’t been the highest priority so far. Seeing this nudge, that it’s still a pain point for you, definitely helps with that!
