November :white_check_mark:/:cross_mark: : I had this goal to track the amount of protein consumed, calculated with Chronometer. Numbers-wise, I was doing great, even gather additional buffer over the buffer with which I started the goal. But then I let the goal stop ahead of time, as I was sufficiently overwhelmed by all the things around me ahead of a conference trip and being sick at the same time. Hence the ambiguous status: it proved that I am able to do the thing just fine, but still, I didn’t stick to the goal for the entire month. Since returning from the trip, I’m actually back to entering the data into Chronometer, but I didn’t restart the goal. Most importantly, I have a much better idea of what it takes to meet the health-recommendations-based amounts of daily proteins.

For December, I will be beeminding the number of words in a google doc in which I will be writing, little-by-little, three drafts of end-of-year “overviews” or “summaries”: on birding, reading, and the impressions about various aspects of my life that I can get through my beeminder goals. As I explained in more detail in my journaling thread, it often feels overwhelming during the last days of December, so I will be working on those drafts in small chunks throughout the month.
