Hi,

Does anyone know how I could use Zapier & RescueTime to help make sure I spend 30 minutes or more per day using a particular dating app?

I’d say just Rescuetime should be enough for that if you can still make custom categories on Rescuetime. 🤔 Make one of those, set Beeminder to track it, and you should be set.

I haven’t used Rescuetime in a looong while though, so not sure if that’s still possible!

Hi Shanaqi,

Thank you for the info. I’ve been looking into this, and it doesn’t appear to be possible in RescueTime. I can only make custom subcategories, but not categories. Their CSV export feature is also broken.

I think Beeminder can possibly track subcategories too (at least, I remember it being able to drill quite far down in what you can track). We have a direct integration, so it’d be worth a look.

Thank you for looking into this. I just looked again via the Beeminder integrations page. For it to work, per the attached screenshots, I’d need a way to edit one of the pre-existing categories or subcategories so that only Hinge was included in it while excluding all other apps & websites.

Would you know if there’s a way to do this?

Direct integration doesn’t give the option to use a subcategory that I created.

Sorry if I’m asking too many questions. I appreciate your help.
