I’m starting to Beemind waist circumference. I selected “Custom” as the type and then entered the below settings. Anyone have suggestions for changes? Should I have just gone with “Whittle Down”? I haven’t used Beeminder for several months and I’m a little rusty on the details.

Waist measurement sounds like whittle down to me! Remember that “whittle down” just means “Odometer + Do Less”. You want to measure your waist’s current size each time, rather than measuring a delta (Odometer), and you want that value to decrease (Do Less) so you want Whittle Down.

It depends, I think: Does waist measurement tend to fluctuate? If so, then weight. If it doesn’t fluctuate much, whittle down could be safe.
