# What happened to TagTime for Android?

I wanted to install it for someone, and it’s apparently not on Google Store (nor on F-Droid). What happened?

It wasn’t being actively maintained, so it fell behind the requirements for the app store and had to be withdrawn. At the moment Beeminder’s not actively supporting any TagTime program/app as far as I know.

Sad. Any chance of publishing it under a FOSS license and pushing to F-droid? (I understand that if it’s much work, nobody will probably have time for this – just asking.)

[TagTime/src/and at master · tagtime/TagTime · GitHub](https://github.com/tagtime/TagTime/tree/master/src/and) ← Source for the android app is available.

It needs some work to bring it up to date, but AI is probably good enough to help with that these days.

Unfortunately this has also fell behind android requirements (not being active/updated). I will come back in a few weeks and rewrite everything with what I’ve learned and get it back on the play store. Sorry about that.
