Sorry if this is an easy question, I checked the help docs and searched the forums but didn’t see anything.

I am interested in trying out the Todoist integration since I use Todoist for all task management in my life. The only thing is that I’m not sure what happens when I don’t have any tasks due. That is obviously not true right now (my lists are a mess), but given a few weeks there might be a day where there is (correctly) no task for me to check off on a given weekday.

Does anyone know how the integration will handle that? For either mode, number of tasks a day or whittle down count.

Good question! For the original do-more interpretation, you _have_ to enter data, so if you didn’t have any tasks to add, you’d have to check them off.

With the whittle down version, I think it’d still be possible to have progress needed and be unable to check something off… that might be one you’d have to think about planning ahead for (e.g. check the statistics for the due-by table, to see what’s due on any given date).

I will make up a custom integration then.

Thanks for the confirmation.
