Book - any good?

Anybody read this book?

I have to say, for almost all self-improvement books I wish for the single-sheet-of-paper version, which feels like it would be a better format. Still, I already learned something from the author – I listened to one of his talks about the book, and he said that a well known result in the field of motor learning was that it helps to practice shortly befoer sleep.

I notice the book’s chapters cover mostly motor skills (exceptions: programming and the game of Go).

The book is worth a read, but my memory of it was that it covered the principles in the first few chapters, and then spent the rest of the book listing stories of how they’d been applied. I remember taking a bunch of notes from the book on the basis that I’d only need to re-read the beginning.
