How do you make Beeminder's Stings more tangible?

Hey guys!

I’m searching for ideas on how to make Beeminder more tangible, that is, how do you best ensure that you feel the drain of money exiting your bank account in a very real way.

Maybe it’s just me, but when I lose money on here it just doesn’t feel potent. Perhaps the pledges aren’t high enough, or I’m not overly mindful about my expenses? I’d love to hear your input.
