Pile / Unpile Goal

Sharing something simple that’s been working well for me:

I thought the concept of redqueening was interesting, and I read somewhere that a really simple way to manage cleaning in general (i.e. putting things / trash / clothes away) is that all you have to do is “pile” and “unpile” things, which felt like a similar concept

So I made 2 goals, one called pile and one unpile

And throughout the day, when the bee prompts me (or when I feel like it), I put things in piles and then put them away from those piles (unpiling) and update a loose count based on that.

Particularly I do it based on “trips” – how many times I need to go to and from a pile.

It’s very simple and fairly effective, because you don’t need to pile / unpile that many times a day to rapidly tidy up a space and keep it that way.

And now I kind of like cleaning?! Because I don’t have to worry about doing it too much or too little, and it’s very simple to think about – just pile or unpile, and get your points.

Ah, I love the “pile/unpile” concept and having two graphs is smart. Bee and I combine them like so:
