Opening thoughts:
A bit of a whirlwind week, and I can’t believe it’s Friday already. Nor can I believe that it’s November.
Derailments:
- /snackattack - I can’t actually remember what happened here. I think I just left eating my yoghurt too late and had to choose, once more, which goal to derail.
New goals:
- /adventprep - I always make Lisa an “advent calendar” of presents rather than just giving presents on Christmas Day, and somehow November’s started and I don’t even have a plan written out yet. This goal (which is also my New Month’s Resolution goal) is to spend at least 5 minutes on that per day in November. There’s an autoratchet on it so I can’t build up more than 3 days buffer.
Changes to existing goals:
- /plank - I’ve let this goal archive for now, as due to the back issues I’ve been having, I don’t think it’s a good idea.
- /septbacklog - This worked very successfully and the backlog is gone, and while I’m not quite at inbox zero right now in the wake of my trip earlier in the week, I’m pretty close.
Closing thoughts:
I’m hoping to get back to my routine next week, and also start seriously studying again. I’ve lost any head start I built up, so I’m contemplating some sort of short term intensive catch up/get ahead goal… maybe. We’ll see!
