Tracking Sprinting?

I’ve decided to take the plunge and get a quantified self tool for tracking my steps and ideally my sprinting. Does anyone have any recommendations for a specific product that integrates well with beeminder?

Ideally, it would both track total number of steps and “sprint steps” or high intensity running. I don’t jog or engage in long distance running, so anything that demands that you sprint for more than a minute for a sprint to count wouldn’t be a good fit.

Any other ideas for “QS first” and automated data gathering of sprints would be appreciated.

Hmmm, well fitbit tracks “very active time” which isn’t perfect but sprinting would certainly register. It doesn’t provide an out-of-the-box way to get “steps taken during very active time”, but you could beemind the time and total steps (your entire day) as an approximate?

That’d be sufficient for my purposes. Thanks!
