brittany:
How did you feel about the thank you card goal?
husband:
It’s fine, why?
brittany:
I’m doing an exit survey. So was it fine or amazing?
husband:
Fine.
brittany:
Didn’t it help us get the cards done on schedule?
husband:
Yeah, it was amazing.
brittany:
But you just said it was fine.
husband:
I take it back, it was amazing.
brittany:
Do you think we would have finished them by now without Beeminder?
husband:
No.
brittany:
When do you think we would have finished them by?
husband:
January.
brittany:
So you’re saying, we finished in half the time we would have otherwise, awesome. Would you do another group goal with your wife?
husband:
I don’t know – it’s a little stressful, she’s a little Type A personality. Just kidding of course. These tomatoes are so not juicy, to be honest, it’s really disappointing. [More things about Canadian tomatoes]
brittany:
Can you explain why the thank you card goal was a good use of Beeminder?
husband:
It was something we could do incrementally, easy to procrastinate on, but not that hard to do on any individual day. I honestly feel like I’m getting quizzed. Like, I’m being asked to explain that I’ve learned how to use Beeminder correctly. I feel like I’m in Beeminder school and I’m taking a pop quiz.
brittany:
Okay, thank you very much.
husband:
Are you playing a prank on me? There’s no exit survey right, you’re pulling my leg?
… I was wondering why you were giggling so much during the exit survey.
