Much like my earlier punctuation nitpicking, I feel kind of bad about pointing this out. Yes, this kind of inconsistency drives me up the wall, but if it something like doesn’t get on other people’s nerves in quite the same way then maybe I should just let it slide.
Still, I’m heartened by the fact that my previous nitpicking was indeed taken in the spirit it was intended. With any luck the same can hold true here as well.
