I use the app but not as my primary source of input. The widget with its default input is a great idea, I appreciate it!
I also would be fine with that.
Very interested to see the implementation! Also out of curiosity, independent of data entry derailment and going back to your prior question about the meaning of buffer, how would the new do-less goals sort in dashboards/galleries in this system? Separate them out or use a (PPR or different) back-end mapping of units to days?
Important question! It would sort by time-to-derailment and not be separated even though it’s a different kind of beemergency, as @adamwolf astutely put it.
(I’m chewing hard on all this; thank you, everyone!)
Whoa, that’s a pretty personal question
I have a must-do goal which is daily (well, 6/week) but I have to choose what it is each time, so it would make no sense not to enter data for that daily anyway. I have a goal for going on runs (I run ~3 times a week). Most of my other goals are on pause right now, but in the past I have had 10-12, with most of them either having a weekly rate of 1 or a max safety buffer of a week, so typical data entry cadence is ~weekly. (I sometimes enter more frequently, but it’s less anxiety-producing to know I don’t have to.)
