Flock - social todos, goal tracking, reviews, and accountability

Hi folks - I built Flock (flockwith.me). The concept is simple: share your daily todos with a small group of friends, and see theirs. Throughout the day, you can cheer each other on, give kudos, and leave comments on what your friends are working on.

What surprised me:

  • Just knowing someone might see my list makes me actually DO the things

  • Seeing friends crush their tasks is genuinely motivating

  • The friendly competition is fun, not stressful

  • I hide sensitive/personal tasks - the social pressure is opt-in per task

It also has pomodoro timers, goal tracking, and Beeminder integration if you want financial stakes.

I just checked this out and I like it a lot! I particularly like the way that if you integrate your beeminder account, then you get a beeminder goal inbox in the expanded view of your todo list, so you can keep one eye on beemergencies in the same place as your todos.
