- My fillings did still need adjusting, and it was a group effort to get me to the dentist…
- …And because of traffic, we were late and the dentist due to see me had left, but Lisa spoke to them for a while and got them to find someone to see me. Hopefully it’s sorted now (it might not be, but we’ll cross that bridge when we come to it).
- Simone stepped in to cover my afternoon shift since I got back later than I’d hoped and in pain.

- Lisa got me a beautiful new puzzle game, The Artisan of Glimmith. Definitely recommend it, though I’ll be working for a long time on the achievements, wow there’s a lot of levels.
- Made some decent progress on the raid we’re working on last night.
- Got some friends playing Bongo Cat and they’ve joined my lobby, kinda fun to see them tapping away too.

- Safely in London.
- Had very good Mexican food for dinner from a tiny little place. They gave us free soup!
- The bed’s nice and big.
We won’t have any problems with feet poking off the end or hopefully with Lisa starfishing over too much of the bed and leaving me no space. Woo!

- We left London and got onto the M1 just in time that we hit junction 21 right before the massive closure today. So we weren’t delayed in getting home at all, whew!
- I set up my book-tracking goals sensibly so that I don’t have to catalogue all my new books right now and that’s not cheating (as long as I don’t start any). Long drive today, I’m tired.
- Being back home! Going on a trip is nice, being home is nice too.

- Not raiding tomorrow, which gives us more time to settle back into a normal routine at home.
- I am having a whale of a time cataloguing my new books and figuring out what to start, even though to avoid derailing involves starting a ridiculous number of new books.
- Dinner with my parents tonight for Simone’s birthday.

- I avoided derailing by starting a lot of books at once, and that’s a little overwhelming but also fun – I used to read this way a lot more often, progressing slowly through a lot of different books at a time, before I got more focused on finishing books. I want to strike some kind of balance between the two, but it was still really enjoyable to have a day focused on just… starting new books I’m excited about.
- Another bonus weekend for selling stuff back to Bookloop. It feels like such a tiny return sometimes, but I remind myself it’s way more than I’d get if I just donated the books to a charity shop!
- Lisa’s running some errands for me, so I can stay in and be lazy.
