I came across an old blogpost about triangular beeminding. I’m curious if anyone is using this technique these days.
As far as use cases, I have a less sweets goal that was motivated by wanting to avoid eating too much ice cream in one sitting. In this case, a triangular metric is more closely aligned with the real goal.
I remember wanting to apply the triangular formula across days, which of course isn’t an aggregation method. So I manually entered 1 on the first day, 2 for the second day of a streak, etc. Being manual, it didn’t stick.
