Triangular and eep

Hi,

I wonder. I set up an automation that logs data automatically for a non cumulative do-less goal with triangular aggday. Will it eep if I reach the max allowed amount of data before derailing?

I set the reminder to seven lead days, but will it just check at 9:30 or also during the day? If it doesn’t work that way, how should I change this goal?

Target is gradually decreasing the amount of times I open my browser on my phone. Currently I can open it 8 times, corresponding to 36 units.

Thanks in advance!

I tried a test goal with a custom do-less set to run flat at 36, set to triangular agg-day. (I deduced that you wanted it with a 0 slope running at 36 from the fact you’d said it wasn’t cumulative, but that may have been a bad deduction on my part)

  • When it got to 7 units added (so an agg-day total of 28 against an allowed target of 36), it showed yellow - so not an eep day.
  • When I added another unit for the day (so agg-day total of 36 vs target of <=36/day) it still showed yellow - still not an eep day, even though you could not do another browse without it going over the target.

Not sure how to set it up to get an eep day for this custom combination, tbh. It’s all about how the custom aggregation calculation interacts with the green/blue/yellow/red calculation for the day (which is what would make it a red, aka “eep” day), and I’m not familiar with that part of the code base. Right now though, this seems to be what it does!

Thanks for the reply. Actually it has a really slow downwards slope. But I would love a heads up before I cross the red line.

For now I try to solve this with another iOS shortcut, that counts the amount of logs.

Edit - I’ll stop this goal for now. It’s not fitting my needs right now. But I’m still curious about the deadline and eep.
