What about goals which are private except to a whitelist of users?
I could use this. I’d like my wife to be able to see all my goals, for example.

It might be simpler to have it like dropbox or google sharing, where the goal is not listed in your gallery, but you can create a link (a long, complicated, unguessable one) that you can send your wife. Not exactly what you have in mind, but close, and probably way easier/faster to implement.

And just to be clear, I wasn’t trying to shut this thread down, but just to
collect links to previous discussion to give a fuller picture. I would
also like this feature, and just having a “secret” URL not linked from
anywhere would work fine for me.

The only way I can think of to work around this is to share the password.
This doesn’t directly address the feature request but might be helpful to someone. If you’re using the Android App you can have multiple accounts signed in at the same time. So, you can see and receive alerts from both your own and your partner’s goals. It also means your partner could fill in the data for your goal to say “I love you” more often etc.
