I’d like to create a manual goal to ensure the number of full days I spend on an activity is at least 52 in a year. As I will be creating the goal one of these days, I’d like it started on Jan 1, 2025 and record the number of days I’ve already spent e.g. 39. Is that possible? Or should I just start afresh with a goal unit of 0.14 (52/365 = 0.14) per day? One minor drawback of that is losing the days already spent, particularly when I’ve pre-loaded the year with that activity.
Yes, you can make a goal so that it starts retrospectively. First you create a goal in the regular way, as if it starts today. It’s important to add “leeway” of the first few days rate=0 at this point. Then you can go to the road editor and move the start date to 2025-01-01, all while not increasing the rate yet. Then import the historical data that I assume you have separately. And only then tweak the rate retrospectively to reflect your desired rate throughout the year.
Some of these steps might depend on having a specific paid tier, I am not sure anymore which.
