UI: Bare minimum traffic light

I like this idea! (also, do the css circle-divies look that pixelated/horrid in real life? or just your mockup?)

That was indeed the idea (in response to @mary’s first Q). Though I don’t totally like showing it in red as there’s ambiguity about whether I’d turn red if I do that much or just be on the cusp? Or said differently: because doing that much leaves you orange, within epsilon of red.

I did not know of the convention (from accounting maybe?) of displaying negative numbers in parentheses. I just wanted to de-emphasize it as a critical number for people who might be confused, since it is less likely to be the important/critical number for people. I will think of other ways to do this.

I think that changing the header text addresses @drtall’s concern about representing the “no more work is needed today” case. But I don’t have any great ideas about an alternate heading for cases that aren’t Red → Orange.

Oh! Maybe including the date. So Bare Min Today vs Bare Min by Thu.

Maybe this is still weird in the “flat forever” case?

I need to think more about the discussion of Do Less lane colors etc.

Oh… um, that info would be in the Helpful Table, except that we’re obscuring it with checkmarks… I guess that’s an argument for just showing the negatives, though I still think that tends to be confusing. Title texts in the Table could be the solution again.
