Here is something I think is a good idea - and if it’s against Beeminder’s ToS, then I didn’t do it and I am sticking to it!
I weigh in first thing in the morning. If I am in the red, I have two options:
- pay Beeminder, or
- report a marginally okay weight and then fast a day.
After a day of fasting, I am waaaay in green, so mission accomplished.
That sort of goes against Beeminder’s business model but boy is it good for my weight loss!
You can easily see three fasting periods on the graph. Not all of them for the same reason.
Actually, the data before the bend on the yellow road is kind of sporadic. Took me a while to get committed to it.
To be fair, I’ve lost 18kg in the last 1.5 years, so I’ve already figured out how to do it.
