I’ve just set a Beeminder goal to snack less, so I’m counting my snacks. Is there a way for me to count (tally) on my Apple Watch, which then automatically gets added to Beeminder? So if I’m in the kitchen eating a snack without my phone near me, I can quickly add it to my watch, and it will automatically add it to Beeminder.
You could use iOS shortcuts for this. Create a shortcut to submit a datapoint a goal of your choosing upon tap. Either use the API directly or use the Beeminder app’s “Add Data Point” shortcut command.
Then mark your shortcut as being available on Apple Watch.
Next install the shortcut on your Apple Watch.
I’ve managed to make a shortcut, but no matter what I try, it won’t show up on my watch, even though it’s listed in the Apple Watch section in Shortcuts (I’ve unpaired, restarted both phone and watch). I also can’t get the beeminder app on my watch, is it meant to be compatible?
