- Lisa did some of my chores for me because they were too much.
- Lisa seems to like the shawl kit I got them as part of their “advent” calendar. I got them this kit and it’s coming out beautifully. (The shop was also great: they offer a yarn winding service and offer to include knitting needles in the kit, with the result that I could just give Lisa the thing and they could start right away. Which they did! Good quality needles, too.)
- Each evening, me and Lisa are sitting together to crochet a blanket. We’re not really sticking to our schedule of doing it as an “advent” blanket, but maybe we can start to catch up soon. Anyway, we spend the time listening to or watching something, and right now we’re rewatching the old BBC adaptation of Have His Carcase starring Edward Petherbridge and Harriet Walter, and I adore it.
