- A surprise gift arrived yesterday evening!
- I found a sneaky extra Reese’s Nutrageous bar hiding in my ‘selection box’ of Reese’s chocolate.

- My grandmother’s cataract operation had great results, and the surgeon has decided to do the other eye as well.
- Amazing Marvin (with the Agenda strategy) keeps me mostly on track with my day’s work, it’s rather nice to have it popping up a little reminder for me at the times I’ve scheduled things!

- My idea of creating micro Beeminder goals just to get started seem to have some adherents, so I think that I can safely try it (thanks, Beeminder forum)
- I received a perfume I randomly ordered because someone said it smells crazy good. It indeed smells fantastic good. I just developed an interest in fragrances (I wish I could get shipped tons of fragrance samples to try at home instead of having to go to an IRL store - which I’ll probably never do)
- I encountered a galaxy-triple-gold-champion of athletic sports, and he gave me life advice. He told me lots of motivating things, and also that I look very autistic. (I told him that he looks very autistic too). It was insightful and motivating.
- Helpful pharmacist which could answer my random questions (he probably was happy to be able to share his 7-ish years of training

I know that a lot of my fragrance-fan friends love Black Phoenix Alchemy Labs, and they do sell little samples (“Imps”) which can be ordered in packs… I rustled up a link for you; Imp’s Ears.
You may well know about this already or it’s not a good deal because shipping or out of your price range or whatever, but still, I thought I’d mention since I know one of my friends is really into it!

My obsession for fragrances started today, so I didn’t know about this shop.
Shipping is prohibitively expensive, so I had to take a ton of Imps. My reasoning is that I can gift them anyway, since the names are goofy. Did you know that they sell a perfume for a “druid” or a “watchful guard”? And maybe they’ll smell crazy good.
I could not pass on that occasion…
This is what I’ve been looking for my whole life without knowing it.

- My health accountability/support buddy who I’ve had since the end of 2018. Had our monthly Zoom call with her today! (Our mutual social circles have been through a hellscape of drama, so I’m really happy we’re still friends.)
- My brother seems to be okay with the masoor daal Instant Pot recipe I used, which means we can put it into the regular meal rotation.
- Holostars has been trying out Deep Rock Galactic, one of our family favorite games.

- I got an A in my fall Probability Theory and Mathematical Statistics class, even though I had calculated that was impossible — i.e. grateful my model was wrong!
- My friend trusts me enough to discuss ML with me, and explain some parts of GEB he didn’t quite get, even though he has a PhD and I haven’t completed my undergrad yet.
- The browser extension for connecting D&D Beyond to virtual table tops works much better than I expected.
- A Discord I joined recently has been friendly and accepting of me, even though I’m from a very different demographic than most of them!
