- Dad has put down plywood that covers the hole in our hallway and is load-bearing, so we can walk easier. And, most notably, so my wife can use their crutches easier! Not avoiding the hole in the floor makes a surprising number of things more pleasant.
- Plans for a weekend that’s as relaxed as possible, apart from some unavoidable chores.
- A friend is going to get rabbit litter for us, so I don’t have to contemplate how to shift a 30L bag of it on a bicycle.

- Most of what I wanted has arrived successfully in the shopping delivery.
- I have managed to fit in some reading today and there’s plenty of time to go.
- Though I did have to take Hulk back to the vet yesterday, it was fairly chill and the diagnosis is probably mostly “sulking”.

Happy St David’s Day!
- My doctor started my anxiety medication again, which is a relief.
- I should get an extension on my assignments.
- We don’t have any daffodils for St David’s Day, but Lisa finally made the daffodil lego kit I gave them last year, so I have some after all.

- the weather is at last Spring-like, so I’ve been able to get into the garden and get some stuff done
- A couple of wagtails that come and visit us the last couple of mornings on the patio. Their bobbing up and down is hilarious!

- The cats are hilariously bonkers now the patio doors are open more of the time. In and out like they’ve never seen the outside world.
- Cycled in to teach my class, and it was just perfect for it.
- Finally: gosh I suck at chess some days! I know this isn’t a gratitude thing, but I just need to say it! I have lots of ideas about how to improve - maybe I’ll make a Beeminder journal thread to record my (stop/start, very erratic) progress?

- A delicious home-made curry for dinner
- Managed to rebuild my Linux system it now runs much faster, and can run through the full test suite in under 30 minutes
- Finally nailed my very well hidden bug - I knew I’d created it somehow, and eventually I found the Rails framework was doing something I’d never predicted, and there it was!

- My parents have put Lisa on their insurance and will lend us one of their cars, since it’s an automatic, and Lisa should be able to drive it despite the broken foot.
- An event with my free company in FFXIV has been cancelled, in part probably because I wouldn’t want to attend right now. I appreciate their consideration.
- The game Two Point Museum is a lot of fun.

- My compassionate extension on my assignments was approved.
- My doctor increased my anxiety medication to the dose I wanted (for now).
