  1. I got a bit overwhelmed, and Lisa took over my to-do list and prioritised it for me.
  2. New members being inducted into my static in FFXIV tonight. It will be good for us going forward to have a full team!

The National Weather Service confirmed that there was indeed a tornado in my area, and in spite of that:

  1. We only had minor damage to our house. All the large trees fell away from our house. We have one neighbor in a hotel because their house is currently uninhabitable, and another who needed stitches but no one in our neighborhood was seriously injured.
  2. We only went a day without power. My uncle’s neighborhood was unaffected, so he lent us his generator to power our refrigerator and freezer.
  3. Both kids seem to have taken it in stride. They were scared during the storm of course, but the next day they willingly came out with my husband and I to clean up and put the garden back in order and they seem to be moving on from it.

  2. I’ve got back into reading a book I’d stalled on, and love it. I’ve said that before about other books, but I’m always grateful.
  3. I read all the Fence graphic novels (by C.S. Pacat and Johanna the Mad) and had a lot of fun.

  1. A new arrangement for my mornings is working out quite well. Turns out I’ll get out of bed to avoid letting down a Focusmate partner, ahaha.
  2. I ordered a necklace and it arrived super fast and looks lovely.
  3. I ordered a custom ereader case and it shipped the next day, wow.

  1. Managed to get myself back into reading by going with my whim. (As I usually try to do, but I’d got stuck in my own head about having to read a particular book, sigh.)

  1. I’ve cleared the new extreme trial in FFXIV! First week, at least, though later than I’d hoped (not as much time to put into it right now as I usually might).
  2. New fish in FFXIV!
  3. Got a new organiser thingy that can hang on a cupboard door and is thus letting me have a very tidy desk, and is making it more convenient for me to just put my ereader away in its cute new case.

  1. I actually got the mount from the new extreme trial yesterday! I think this is the earliest I’ve ever had it – I was in the first 150 to record it on FFXIVcollect. (Probably that means there are more people who have it and don’t share the required info publicly, but it’s still a solid indicator that I was very early to acquire it. And very lucky!)
  2. Dad’s here and mowed our lawn for the first time this year. Still grateful he keeps doing this.
  3. The clocks have changed in the UK (boo) putting me back into alignment with people in the US (yay).

  1. Work on my assignment is proceeding swiftly.
  2. Slept well last night, in the end, even though I had trouble falling asleep.
  3. I’m pretty much ready for my grandmother’s funeral: black dress, tights, shoes I can comfortably carry the coffin in, reading memorised. It makes it easier to know that I have all this stuff lined up, so I’m very grateful for that (even as I wish this weren’t happening).

  1. Found a valuable parcel that had been missing for two days - delivered 200m away, to a completely different address (literally the only thing in common is they’re in the same village). But we have it now, and it’s safe!
  2. Everything went ok on a household servicing
  3. Managed to fit a replacement for the ceramic glass top on our hob that had been accidentally cracked a few days ago

  1. My parents are once more helping me out, now with a phobia-related issue.
  2. Events have given me and my wife the impetus to move to a bigger flat finally, so that is a bright spot amidst the annoyance and inconvenience.

  1. Easter week is coming and my kids’ exciting for spring break is contagious.
  2. Got a bit of money from a class action settlement against Facebook. Not much, but just enough to get a Sims EP that I was eyeing.
  3. Solo for an upcoming dance show is coming along nicely and I’m feeling confident about my ability to have it polished in time.
