- Fun ideas for treating people. I’m glad my brain is good at this.
- “One of the bunnies” has bought me a book to cheer me on with my studies etc. (I.e. my wife has, but forgive us our saccharine little games!)
- Recleared M5S in FFXIV in a single pull last night, which left me lots of time for some personal catchup stuff.

- Went to my favourite bakery in town super-early, and bought croissants and pain aux chocolate for breakfast
- Built a very smart bamboo frame around the tall grasses in the garden, to stop them flopping all over the place. Looks great, with some carefully-tied Japanese square knots to hold them together!
- Finally got my standard text expander working on my Linux box - turned out the newest version fails, and I had to revert back to an earlier one.

- FFXIV friends are supportive and understanding about the fact that I can’t do the new content much yet and have asked them to be chill about it and not tease me about what I’m missing out on.

- Some of my FFXIV friends are actually waiting for me rather than starting the new content.
Definitely not something I asked for, but I’m so touched.
- Exceptionally good sleep last night. Which… is perhaps more like my usual standard sleep from last year, probably, but it’s unusual for me right now and it was nice.
- I’m still managing to make a fair bit of reading time, despite the exam prep, so that’s helping me stay as relaxed as I ever do with an exam on the horizon.
