- My grandma bought daffodils yesterday so they’re brightening up the room I’m working in this morning.

- I am really enjoying researching the epidemiology of yellow fever for my essay! It’s a tricky problem to control, and a clever little virus.
- Slept better back home and under my weighted blanket.
- Lisa liked a surprise present I bought them. It’s a kit for making a tiny tailor’s shop model.

- My new laptop’s charger is suitable for use with my phone and tablet, so now I have one less cable at my desk.
- I have remembered that I have a week’s holiday starting at the end of this week.
- This holiday very conveniently prevents me from attending a pointless meeting that I’d rather avoid.

- Rereading books; not everyone likes doing it, so I’m glad I’m able to enjoy it. I reread Wylding Hall (Elizabeth Hand) last night and it was fascinating all over again, and now I’m rereading Chalice (Robin McKinley).
- Reading new books thanks to games on Litsy.
- Glad for all the therapy I had to help me deal with my anxiety – even though it’s a bad week for it, I can see why, and I know I’ll be able to handle it.

- Today my fancy gaming chair will arrive, promising greater comfort for my aching lower back/hips/etc.
- Was able to sleep in a bit today when I didn’t feel great.

- Almost time for my end-of-week Focusmate session. I always pair up with the same person for the Friday afternoon session!
- The British Library Crime Classics series. It’s opened my eyes to so much more classic mystery/crime fiction than I ever knew about, even though I did a class in it.
- The STAGs (Short Term Accountability guild members) on Habitica. I’d not be getting through my to-do list so well without them.
- I was able to spend the most of the day unwinding instead of Doing Things.
- We have so much fruit in the house at the moment.
- Reading novels.

- Wales beat Scotland in a rather nailbiting game. Way better rugby played than last week.
- New books! Including one on yellow fever – I’m writing an essay on yellow fever at the moment, though this is unlikely to give me any material for that.
- Lisa put a tenner on the Wales win, so we get dessert tonight!

- The male scrub turkey has abandoned his mound now that breeding season is over, so I can spread it around the garden as compost.
