Can someone please explain the calculation that is used to determine the pessimistic presumptive report amount that is logged when not reporting for a day on a Do Less goal?
At first, I thought it was always double the commitment goal value, but on one of my goals, I decreased the commitment amount, but the ppr values that got logged after the change did not decrease.
Thanks!

Ah, good question! It’s usually twice your current commitment value, unless your rate is zero, in which case it’s 1.
My guess would be that the reason it hasn’t changed for you is that you’re still within the akrasia horizon, and thus using the old rate. Once it’s been seven days since you made the change, it’ll then be double that new rate, but only once your goal is actually at that rate.
Does that maybe make sense of things? Eager to hear if anything seems weird! If you’re comfy posting a goal link here, we could take a closer look from here, or you can email us at support@beeminder.com. If you do that, if you can mention this thread and link to it that’d be handy context for whoever handles the email!
