Integration with general task Management systems?

I would like to manage all my daily tasks, both those that are beminded and not beeminded, in one system such as todoist or toodledoo, etc. (Not emacs that’s too complicated.) Beeminder will get automatically updated for certain tasks that are completed in this other system.

Simplifying assumptions: All of my beeminder tasks are simple do more tasks.

Does anyone do this? How would I set it up?

Beeminder has an official todoist integration. You should be able to see it when you create.a new goal.

For daily tasks you could either tag tasks with a “daily” tag or create a project called “daily”.

As you complete tasks a data point of 1 should populate to the goal for each task completed.

Agree with @cgamer1 , Todoist works very well for this. I have, for example, various household tasks under one label, all of which feed into a Beeminder goal for “household”. So if I tick any of those off on Todoist, I get +1 against that goal.

Or you can have 1-to-1 connections from goals to Todoist as well, iirc.
