The Type Bee Personality Poll

I was thinking about the type bee personality today for reasons about-to-be-beknownst to the daily beemail folks and would like to see which of the following you self-identify as:

  • ADHD-ish
  • Akratic
  • Ambitious/motivated
  • Lazy
  • Nerdy
  • Data-oriented
  • Rational
  • Technical (like a STEM major)
  • Munchkin-y (like being game for crazy lifehacky things)
  • A little obsessed with epistemics
  • A little obsessed with ontologies
  • Completionist
  • Aspy/spectrum-y (is this a thing you can say? I’m too much whatever-the-right-term-is to know!)
  • Perfectionist

I’d be curious to know more about the in a more clinical sense. How many of us have (or have not) been (or at least are likely to be) diagnosed ADHD, Autistic, Depressed, OCD, what-have-you. I’m pretty sure it would have to be (optionally?) anonymous for HIPAA reasons, but I’m still curious.

The poll seems broken to me right now! I click boxes and no checkmarks appear (although the “Vote now!” button does activate, so maybe if I submit it will actually submit data?). My browser is Chrome on Mac.

I’m experiencing the same

Discourse support just confirmed that they accidentally broke it yesterday and are hurrying with a fix! Stand by…

I’m interested in this, too. I’ve already gone on the record saying that I’ve used Beeminder to compensate for moderate depression, for which I received a doctor’s diagnosis.

works for me too, now

I’m diagnosed with mixed mood disorder and my doctor and therapist suspect ADHD, but no formal diagnosis yet. I use Beeminder to help keep me on track when the depressive episodes hit or I need the motivation to concentrate on something.

HIPAA isn’t really relevant here - it applies to health care providers, not individuals voluntarily choosing to disclose their own diagnoses.
