As a regular user already, I decided to try out Beemium at least for a full month to test out some of its features, and report back if I find anything that might be interesting to those considering switching up.
Those who already use Beemium or have use it before, do you have any suggestions? 
I really like the max safe days functionality.

Yes! That’s the feature I love the most 
I often set goals to have a low rate, but also a low max safe days. This means if I spend a whole weekend on a project, I still have to touch it in a few weeks.
Yeah but doesn’t the idea just nag at you that you need to pay more to risk more!? 
I know it is probably because bigger risks may just lead to a lower likelihood Beeminder will collect, but pay more to risk more! lol
When you have beemium, that section on the premium page is a link that takes you to where you can hop in. 
It’s a little bit limited, but it basically plugs you in to the main channel of our Slack, while you’re online. (You can’t see history or anything, so it’s bad for a continuous conversation over multiple days, though.)
I just like knowing I’m at the top level! It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside
