Why is there an extra day added each time I create a goal?

My timezone is set correct. And can’t find a way to “delete” that extra day, I’ve looked over and over

Can you explain what you mean by an “extra day”? Do you mean you want to start your goal in beemergency mode? In that case, the way to do so during setup would be to tick the “start with extra leeway” button and then put in 0 to get no days of leeway.

It’s useful to hear if I’m right and it’s confusing that the default is to start you on the line (rather than below it) – I agree that it’s a bit counterintuitive to have to choose the “days of leeway” option to get the situation with absolutely no leeway.

I think it’s the default because that way you have a little bit of buffer in case you started the goal late in the day. i.e. if you started a goal of doing 30 minutes of cardio a day at 11:50pm on Jan 1st, you would 100% derail because there’s not enough time to do it. But at the same time, you don’t want to be restricted to only creating the goal in the mornings when have plenty of time to achieve the goal
