My android app keeps saying it is refreshing but isn’t doing so.
Numbers are arriving in the beeminder website but not into the app.
Last night app told me I had derailed on my steps goal but fortunately the website knew better.
I have also had a similar issue. Typically if the datapoint is white it was sent to the Beeminder servers. If it is red it is still pending and has not been sent to the servers. A reinstallation fixes the issue for me.
Please go into the app and send feedback. It sends us logs and I can take a look.

Oops, will do next time. This time I did the reinstall which seems to have worked.
