Changing deadlines on hardcore goals?

I’m considering a morning waterfall, but several of the goals involved have a rate of 1/day, meaning they are always beemergencies (by design since they are routine goals). But my understanding is that Beeminder doesn’t let you push deadlines back on goals with a beemergency, which means I could easily get into a bind where I need to adjust my morning routine (since this is all an experiment), but Beeminder won’t let me.

I’m happy to wait a week for the changed schedule to take effect, but I don’t like the thought of having to schedule breaks and remember to change the deadlines when the break happens–seems like very easy to mess up, at which point I’ll have to schedule more breaks a week away, etc.

How can I ease this pain for myself?

And, if I can make a feature request, it would be very nice to be able to change deadlines a week in advance so I don’t have to worry about getting buffer in order to do it.

Think I figured this out–you just have to enter data a bit ahead of schedule, then change the deadline between when you enter data and the deadline. So, for example, if the deadline is 6am, enter data by 5:55am, then change the deadline in the next five minutes.
