Easy Way To Use This CSV?

Hello,

For context, I tried RescueTime, which is buggy, and a few similar apps that couldn’t do what I needed them to.

I’ve decided that I won’t use RescueTime.

I already got some assistance from the RescueTime staff, forum users here, Google search, and even ChatGPT. I repeatedly adjusted sub categories on my phone. Even direct integration doesn’t work. RescueTime won’t track Hinge use.

Instead, I found another app that reliably records and exports my app usage data (including Hinge) to a CSV file. My goal is to swipe on the Hinge app 30 minutes per day.

Attached are 3 screenshots. The time stamp in the file name is when the report was run, not the reporting period. Instead, the reporting period is in cell A42 of the file (per the screenshot).

Since the file name will always be different, I was wondering, is there an easy way to send this data to Beeminder?

I considered Zapier, but it seems to have too many limitations in the free version.

Thank you for any help.

Depends on the scope every person includes in “easy”, I guess. It seems pretty easy (to me now as opposed to about a year ago) to write a python script that will parce the csv, extract the necessary data, and post the datapoint to Beeminder through API. With the help of an AI chatbot in case you are not very familiar with all that coding syntax. The flexibility of what kind of data can be converted into a source of a beeminder goal has increased tremendously since this became an option.
