Lovely walk to the school (well, most of the way on my part, but I got to sit in a pretty wooded area while I waited for them) with my husband and son!

- The improvements/tweaks Dad made to my bike really do help! Now the magnet to hold it together when folded properly engages and doesn’t slip so easily, for instance.
- Was able to use my store credit from Bookloop to pre-order a book I’m interested in (The Bookshop, The Draper, The Candlestick Maker: A History of the High Street by Annie Gray).
- An evening off raiding.

- Lisa’s getting me a treat when shopping today.
- Finally started watching the Heaven Official’s Blessing donghua with Lisa. The subtitles are hilariously bad (Ling Wen keeps being referred to as “Wingman”, Mount Yujun as “Mount Eugene”, and I can’t remember the others but it’s just… bad), but that’s fine. We’re watching the dub anyway.
- Finding a helpful video for pronouncing all the names in Heaven Official’s Blessing. Some I’ve been getting right (Hua Cheng, for instance), but others are a bit more tricky.

- Library has more holds waiting for me.
- Recklessly saying “sometimes my Beeminder goal isn’t the most important” and planning to derail in order to start reading a bunch of books at once, just for fun. Sometimes I get too stuck in my head to do this kind of thing, but friends encouraged me to, and… yep, I’m really enjoying my impulsive reading. (Primarily Sorcery & Cecilia, by Patricia C. Wrede and Caroline Stevermer, right now.)
- Having the disposable income to just… try new games, if I want to.
