  1. My back doesn’t hurt too much today after a ride yesterday, so I think I’ve fixed or at least ameliorated some of my “fit” issues with my bike.
  2. Books I put on hold are waiting for me at the library.
  3. Learning about new catchy songs through people’s fanvids. :laughing: Youtube keeps recommending me them, and I remember discovering a lot of music that way as a teen, so I’ve been clicking on them. Not stuff I’d always listen to, but fun.

  1. My new Loop Dream earplugs are much more comfortable and convenient than wax earplugs, and I think a bit better than them at blocking sound, as well. Or at least, easier to get a good seal with.
  2. No raiding this evening. Glad for a night off.
  3. Nice enough weather for a bike ride today.

  1. My fall off my bike yesterday was mostly controlled, so I have a nasty bruise on my thigh but nothing worse. I’m not even limping this morning, though I was yesterday, so yaay.
  2. Free flu vaccine today.
  3. The app Routinery is (for now at least) helping me with morning/evening routines quite well.

  2. Feeling quite pleased with how my currentlyreading goal is going; it looks like it really is working to narrow down the field of books I’m currently partway through.
  3. A couple of days ago I got myself teacakes as a treat and forgot. Now I am going to have unexpected toasted teacakes! I’m a genius.

  1. My lovely old retractable fountain pen has been restored to working order after some intensive therapy, plus the application of rare, apparently magical - and quite expensive - posh pen cleaner
  2. We have a huge number of conkers (English name for horse chestnuts) falling in our garden, and I’ve had a hilarious time launching them into the neighbouring field with a catapult
  3. Had a 20 minute nap and felt much better for it

  3. Read a novella I thought might be a bit too horror-y for me and really liked it, actually. (What Moves The Dead, by T. Kingfisher – it’s essentially a retelling of ‘The Fall of the House of Usher’.)

  1. Same-day delivery from Amazon. I prefer not to use it, but when I need something to take with me on a trip tomorrow, it’s very handy.

  3. A friend’s mother’s operation went very well, with a very good chance she’s going to be declared totally free of cancer once her course of radiotherapy concludes.
