- It’s funny and neat that my morning routine tied to reading a few pages of my book before looking at any screens has made it possible for me to go so long without derailing on my morning toothbrushing goal. Absurd and typical that that was the trick, for me.
- Lisa will be making lemon drizzle cake today.
- Nope, still a lot grateful for the increased tidiness and ease of hoovering the house.

- Treadmill is not quite functional yet, but we have fairly high hopes.
- Got even more of the house tidied and cleaned properly today. I feel so much better for it, though I try not to kick myself about things falling by the wayside a bit when both me and Lisa are struggling with our depression.
- Last therapy session tomorrow; I should even be able to come off my medication.
- Treadmill! For real this time!
- Therapy done! My PTSD is massively mitigated, and we even ended up talking about rugby. (It was relevant, though, I swear.)
- My appointment for my second vaccine shot has been moved sooner.
- My hair is nice and short now.
- Chatting with my mum and showing her our wildflower garden.
- Apparently we have some oriental poppies in our garden. Surprise!

Jeremy modified our gas stove lighter gun so that it doesn’t need fuel! It just does a click to make a spark now (previously a cap had stopped the spark reaching the stove’s burner).

- I have realised that I’m a mature adult who is capable of doing mature things like buying a block of haloumi cheese to cook and eat at home. I don’t know why I never thought of this before but this is life-changing.
- This adorable photo of a bee’s butt
- I’ve started breeding mealworms as a healthy food for butcherbirds, scrub turkeys, and lizards, and the birds love them (the lizards are mostly hibernating right now).
Any recipes in mind? We are big fans of halloumi burgers, but most other stuff we find is for salads and so on, which is nice but… moar halloumi is good halloumi.
- Going for a walk today, to somewhere we haven’t been for a while!
- Lisa knitted me pretty socks to wear with my walking boots that make them a bit less roomy, and this is my first chance to wear them.

I am not a subtle eater.
Jeremy has been putting slices of it on home-made beef burgers and put some in a salad, grilled and cut - both were nice.
- I took some seed pods from a wild oriental poppy and dried them over the winter, then sowed them in the tiny “wildflower meadow” my dad made. We’ve got one and it’s in flower now!
- I got a book token so I’ve ended up ordering a book I want… free!

- Thea Gilmore is making a huge step which sounds really cathartic and important for her. I’ve loved all her music (19 albums!) but, from what I pieced together about her divorce from her husband who was also her producer, I’ve worried about how she was going to go on. It sounds like she’s gonna do great, and even if her music goes in a direction I don’t love, I’m grateful she able to take a step forward.
