- Using the new year as a chance to think things over and refresh various things in my life to serve me better.
- The inbox was not as busy this morning as yesterday, which was a big relief.

- There’s new episodes of Vikings. I had thought that the series was finished (and on a low note!).

- Started the new year with a lot of laughter with my sister and Lisa.
- Found the energy to do some tidying and sorting I’ve been meaning to do for a while.
- Found some Postcrossing cards that I hadn’t registered in an odd place, and one of them was a Moomin card!

- Feeling a bit more able to engage with stuff on various sites that I always want to keep up with. Yay, having energy!
- People being nice about challenges I ran in December on Habitica.
- Texting with a friend about some stupid stuff we found hilarious as students. (Like the song “Horse Outside” by the Rubberbandits. We hated it, but also loved it. We were snowed in, not sure if we could get back to see our parents for Christmas, and possibly there was hysteria there. Now, such nostalgia.)
- Got to ride in the afternoon when it was sunny but with clouds, so
sunlight was spotlighting the green hills - Caught a nice sunrise this morning

- Our local member of Parliament arranged for us all to get a Christmas card in our letter boxes. Today.
- I’ve felt happy consistently for about two hours now. This is rare! Usually I’m neutral unless I deliberately pay attention and remind myself I can be happy.
- In the UK, the people who pulled down a statue of a slaver have been found not guilty of criminal damage. ref
