Retroratchet feature request

Being able to set an auto-retroratchet once a week would be great. For
instance, I have a goal that makes me empty my @reply folder in Gmail once
a week. But some weeks I’ll be awesome and answer all pending emails four
days in a row, and then I’ll use that as an excuse to take the next three
weeks off from cleaning it out. (I still answer urgent emails, of course,
but I let the non-urgent ones sit there far too long.) Not great. I’m too
lazy to manually retroratchet it every week, but if I could set it to go to
zero every Sunday night, I’d be forced to actually empty it at least once
per week. That would be great for my junk food goal too; right now I give
myself three points a day for free and then subtract a point every time I
eat something in one of my three junk food categories, but I don’t yet have
a set goal. I’ve just been observing the slope of the line over a given
week and comparing it to other weeks. Auto-retroratcheting weekly would
help me do that at a glance more easily.

Thanks Mirabai! First I should check whether you know about the
auto-ratchet feature that we currently have as part of Plan Bee –

I’ve been thinking for a while that that ought not to be a premium
feature – we talk about the criteria for what should be premium at

And it sounds like your version might be slightly different than
what’s implemented anyway. Eager to discuss this more!
