I like having Beeminder widgets on my Android Phone, like @nepomuk’s http://blog.beeminder.com/mirabai/.
On my Nexus 5X, however, I could “only” fit 25 widgets per screen!
Using Nova Launcher, I was able to get 30 comfortably, and a quick test shows that I’d probably be OK with 42! Please note that while you can change the grid size with the free version, to increase the icon size (to make it more usable) with a small grid, you need the paid version of Nova Launcher.
