Cheap Smart Scales for weight loss

Hello Beeminders,

I’m thinking of buying some smart scales to integrate to my weight loss goal. However the the Withings and Fitbit scales seem very expensive an there are many cheaper options on the market now. I was wondering does anyone have experience using non withing / fitbit scales. Persumably if the software connects with IFTTT or Zapier it should be integratable with beeminder?

I’m going to go out on quite a sturdy limb and say yes, if you can get your scale to tell IFTTT or Zapier the relevant number, then either of those services can add it as a datapoint to your Beeminder goal.

Folks here would probably like to hear what you get working.
