Duolingo integration — incorrect automatic data entries

In my “Learn German” goal I’m supposed to make no less than 50 points a day on Duolingo. And right now, after around 5 days, I’m a bit perplexed owner of 2000+ points, which are simply the sum of the next automatic entries:

Please fix the automatic entry system and give me the chance to fail this goal which I don’t have with this kind of bug.

Oh no! Either we introduced a bug or Duolingo’s API changed to give cumulative points instead of differential or something, but this is definitely broken and we are rushing to fix. Thanks so much for the alert!

I spoke too soon with the “definitely something broken”. It’s the zeros that are confusing Beeminder. We have a fancy odometer reset feature that treats zeros specially. If you get rid of those then the graph will go back to normal.

Now we just have to figure out what caused the zeros in the first place, which may well be our bug. Can you email support@beeminder.com?
