So, Hiveminder, the best ever todo list, is going dark in April. Anyone interested in salvaging the code with me and trying to keep this thing running? Frankly, I think there business plan was weak, but, what do I know about running an online todo list.
Is it better than Todoist? Where is the code available?
It certainly doesn’t have the slick interface that todoist has - though it has been designed with a simple syntax that lets you create tasks by email, by sms, by quicksilver, by a buch of things that I don’t even know what they are.
And, it has two feature that a lot of GTD types will like:
-
A task review process that lets you quickly page thru your list, rescheduling, reprioritizing, etc. until you’ve got today’s (or this week’s or your wife’s) list
-
The ability to hide a task until some future date. This needs to be done by Oct. 30, but it’s a two week task, so don’t even show it to me until Oct. 1st.
Code will be made available when they shut down in April. I have no details yet.

There are so many todo list apps. See: https://discussion.evernote.com/topic/49031-evernote-and-task-manager-integration/
Indeed. The best for me is http://www.calendarscope.com/index.html?src=cs-mainr&version=7.5.0.0r
