Reducing back to $1?

Just wondering if it’s intentional that if you’ve set up a goal on the new $1, $5, etc pledge schedule, and then derailed so your pledge is up to $5, that you can’t reduce the pledge back to $1 (after the week’s delay).

The page has a locked up “DECREASE PLEDGE TO $1” button and says that “Pledgeless goals are a feature of the Beemium plan”. Which is all fine and dandy except that “$1” and “pledgeless” aren’t quite the same thing.

Well spotted! This is a little in flux – see “Explanation of the new pledge schedule?” – but for now the answer is that it is intentional but the webcopy is confusing and counts as a bug. So thank you for reporting it! That earns you stickers if you want to DM me your mailing address…
