Sync with Apple Health stuck

Back to Beeminder after a long break and I setup some goals that get their data from Apple Health. But in the iOS app when I tap Sync with Health App the spinner just shows forever and the data doesnt sync. How to troubleshoot?

Hello,

Iā€™m guessing you are using the app store version of the app. Before we do to much debugging, how would you feel about trying the TestFlight beta version, and seeing if you have the same problem? You can get it using this link: Join the Beeminder beta - TestFlight - Apple

In terms of debugging, it would be useful to know:

  • Phone model and iOS version
  • What metric you are trying to connect
  • If you go to settings and disconnect / reconnect the metric, does it work? Does data update when you do this?
